Symantec Antivirus Is

Being Replaced

As many of you know, in a cost savings effort the University is transitioning from Symantec Antivirus to MS Forefront by July 1, 2012. This means that all copies of University licensed Symantec Antivirus will have to be removed from all University and personally owned machines by July 1. To assist users in this transition, UITS has created a website to walk users through the install process. http://antivirus.uconn.edu

If you have any questions or concerns or are unable to run the uninstaller, please feel free to contact either Joe Banning or Tom Corso.

The Video Conferencing equipment has been moved to ATL 109 in preparation for the Young renovation. To schedule the room, please contact Lynn Grabowski 6-0179. Once scheduled, contact Joe or Tom for setup.
